A Must Have Smartwatch, Instinct 2S by Garmin

Exercise has started to become a part of my life as I get older. The realization that I’m not going to be young forever and the many health problems I’m experiencing makes me think it’s important to make time for regular exercise. Therefore, I need supporting tools, one of which is a Smartwatch.

There are many good smartwatch out there and so far I have only tried two brands and one of them is from Garmin which is the Instinct 2S series. This is an update from the previous series with more advantages. The first reason I chose this smartwatch was because of recommendations from many people. Besides that, what I like is the design and color.

From several colors, I chose the deep orchid color which is beautiful and elegant. I like the round shape of the screen and the menu surrounding the screen frame. With a comfortable silicone strap, it doesn’t stick easily and annoyingly when the skin gets sweaty. Also, the high screen resolution doesn’t make it difficult or painful to stare at the smartwatch.

How about the performance? Honestly, I’m not a professional so I use this smartwatch according to my needs. And from what I’ve felt so far, the performance is impressive. Not only for sports but there are also other features that I like such as music. I can listen to music through this smartwatch.

Other features that I often use or have explored include sleep, hydration, menstruation, pregnancy, stress tracking. For sports this smartwatch can support running, cycling, swimming because it is safe from shocks and heat resistant, even the heat energy from the sun can be used by this smartwatch to charge, I was surprised by this fact.

The battery life can be customized. If you use the saving mode it can last approximately 50 days while the smartwatch mode can last approximately 20 days. And I can attest to that, going weeks without charging the battery. So I think this smartwatch is one of the best in its class, especially for you professionals. Worth the price.
