I do not really know for what reason, but just one thing that scratched and itching to buy to put on and wear that giant cozy and sloppy sweater – Stoopwafel Crew Bone. Earlier on, I used to listen to great testimonials about their fabric made of the Recashmere fabric-just would be superb, and they really do nothing preparing that person once it is applied in reality.
Of course, by the time it finally arrived at my doorstep, I couldn’t be more excited. I opened the box gingerly and was right away hit with that plush, creamy sweater. The minute I put it on, I knew why it’s called one cozy staple for a reason: the Recashmere felt like a warm hug to the skin-so soft yet substantial at the same time to warm without heaviness.
I put it on one Sunday afternoon, just having warm tea and cuddling with a good book. Lying on the couch, I couldn’t help but notice how the sweater lay on me, completing my setting. It’s great to wear while just lounging around the house or running quick errands. I have even worn a chunky scarf with this and my favorite jeans on a last-minute coffee date with a friend.
But most of all, dwarfing all that is, and very importantly, it is the remarks that I got that day, it is on that day she told me how chic and stylish it made me look; because of both of us never once believe that its an oversized sweatshirt, and it wears the polished look so easy. Maybe it was that at this very moment memories of those warm sweaters, which we took off our men so to say, and companionship of friendship-whomever knows-reinforced something in me, and that very simple comforting ritual turned out to be quite on the contrary.
Whenever I slip on the Everlane Stroopwafel Crew, the indolence of that Sunday seems seared in my brain as, it were my default pull whenever the suddenly vapid moments are given up with swaddle by some form of a chic and hot blanket. In essence, that sweater actually had proved to be this very minor-and major-piece when fall became quite an obsessive thing in the routines of daily wear for me, till then the colds took over, anyway.
