When I bought the Handle It Kids Rain Boot in pink for my 3-year-old daughter, I was just hoping to avoid another soggy sock meltdown on the way to preschool. But what I didn’t expect was that these boots would become her absolute favorite thing to wear rainy day or not.
The first day she wore them, it poured. Normally she’s grumpy about walking in the rain, but that morning she practically skipped the whole way to school, proudly stomping in every puddle she could find. She kept shouting, Look, Mama I’m splashing The joy on her face totally sold me on these boots.
What I love is how independent they make her feel. The handles are genius she can pull them on and off all by herself, which she’s super proud of. Plus, they’re really lightweight. I was worried they might be clunky, but she runs around the playground in them with no problem at all.
And from my side, they’re so easy to clean. A quick rinse and they’re good as new. We’ve had them for a couple of months now, and they’ve survived mud, rain, and even a messy garden playdate and still look great.
They’ve truly made rainy days something to look forward to instead of dread. Honestly, I think I might grab a second pair in another color just to have on hand. If you’ve got a little puddle jumper like mine, these are an absolute must.
