My little girl’s unforgettable experience using magnetic blocks

1 year ago 32

When my firstborn child was diagnosed with a mild form of a learning disability (GLD), I sought to create a home environment that would nurture her early education. I began by carving out a section of my patio, which I designated as a play area specifically to spur her creativity. I then stocked a variety of art supplies, toys, and props that included her dollhouse care tools and a doctor set.

However, it was when I was researching on what else to include in the stockpile that I came across the Gemmicc 2024 New Arrival Amazon Hot Selling Products 100Pcs Building Blocks Set Educational Toys Colorful Magnetic Tiles. It’s a very versatile construction toy where the individual pieces interlock via magnetic edges on each piece. My four-year-old daughter and I found the magnetic blocks easy to assemble because they snapped together easily due to the magnetic attraction built on their edges.

Since I was conscious of her motor development at this stage of her life, I thought the magnetic blocks were a game changer, as she was fascinated by the power of magnetism as the pieces interacted. Secondly, the magnetic blocks were flexible and easy to use, as she was able to create 3D shapes due to the ease of attaching and detaching these blocks. I also helped her explore and identify the different colors and geometric shapes within the 100-block set.

I think the magnetic blocks are ideal for early childhood learning and brain development, as they build interest and skills that aid children into later life. As children build using the blocks, they become more imaginative and creative as they explore such topics as geometry, magnetism, construction, as well as color and shape recognition. In the end, the magnetic blocks are ideal for building children’s 3D spatial thinking and logical ability. Like my daughter, the child in me was also fascinated by this great innovation.
