I Would have said in my experience, after trying the Seresto Collar by Elanco. It is the most effective tick medication I’ve ever encountered. Offers up to 8 months of protection from fleas and ticks and from the risk of canine leishmaniasis transmission. It really eliminate ticks on contact, before they can bite.
I did some research on the product and its safety. So, I’ve decided to give the Seresto collar a try about 7 months ago. It was almost miraculous. If I found any ticks, they were dead and I found very few. I did not have a single live tick this summer. There was no irritation on my dog and no side effects.
I’m satisfied using it and it really works great. It lasts nearly a year. So, it is a lot cheaper eventually than other tick prevention solutions.
Seresto collars release active ingredients in low and continuous doses on the skin and coat for protection against parasites like, ticks, fleas, lice, and the diseases they can transmit. Good thing, it is suitable for adult dogs and puppies from the age of 7 weeks.
So, If ever you’ve had fleas in your house in the past, make sure you also treat your house with anti-flea products but for the best prevention of fleas and ticks, get seresto flea and tick control collar. I highly recommend this!
