Sometimes I really want to get away from skin problems, especially facial skin, but I realize that will never happen at all. So I choose to accept and be more sincere about taking care of my skin. Since I have dry skin, problems like peeling and scaly skin always come my way so I have a lot of moisturizing products that I have tried myself.
One of them is from CeraVe, Daily Moisturizing Lotion. A product that made a good impression on my skin in just a few weeks of use, it really works well. It’s basically a lotion formulated with key ingredients like ceramides and hyaluronic acid. The texture of the lotion is just like any other lotion, when you take the product out of the packaging it does feel a little heavy but once blended on the skin it is very light and absorbs quickly.
What I like is that the formula really works, no gimmicks. I used the product when I had a severe breakout and after the first week, my skin started to improve, better than before. It doesn’t have a brightening claim, but to improve our skin barrier so what I feel is that my skin is not as dry as usual. Plus it has amazing moisture locking power so it can stay moisturized for up to a dozen hours of activity.
What I love even more and what really helps is that this lotion can be used on both body and face. My grandmother used to use this product on her dry feet and she said her feet slowly got better and smoother, and peeling skin didn’t happen as often. I sometimes use it on my dry hands and feet before bed, and the next day all the dryness is gone. Although I think it’s a bit pricey, but I don’t mind because it’s also a lot of product that can be used for months, and once again your skin’s best friend!
